Breaking: Superstar Point Guard Returns To The Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks took a huge step back last season as they missed the playoffs for the first time since star Guard Luka Doncic's rookie campaign, and while it's easy to blame the acquisition of Kyrie Irving on this downfall, the two have the potential to be great alongside each other.

Irving has a player option in the third-season of the deal, and after averaging 27.0 PPG in 60 games between Brooklyn and Dallas last year, if the team can put the right pieces around this star back court, there's no reason why they can't leap back into the playoffs.Free agent Kyrie Irving has agreed to a three-year, $126 million contract to return to the Dallas Mavericks, with a player option in third season, @TheAthletic @Stadium learned.
