NBA Rumors: Brooklyn Nets Have Genuine Interest In Superstar Guard

 

The Brooklyn Nets franchise has been on a wild run in recent times, moving off the successful Kenny Atkinson and D'Angelo Russell era in favour of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in free agency, and this past season, they moved once again for Mikal Bridges and plenty of draft picks, leaving their future wide open.

With Bridges, they have the opportunity to either collect more picks and focus on their future, or move those picks to acquire another star, and it appears as of right now, the latter is the most likely, as the team reportedly have very 'genuine' interest in Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard.

If Lillard truly is available, there is going to be plenty of teams vying for his services, but few have the assets of the Brooklyn Nets, and if they can pair Bridges, Nic Claxton and a potentially healthy Ben Simmons with Dame Time, this could be a very fun team to watch.
