NBA Rumors: New Orleans Pelicans Expected To Attempt Aggressive Move In The 2023 NBA Draft

 

The New Orleans Pelicans have established one of the most talented young rosters in all of the NBA in recent years, but unfortunately, due to injuries suffered by Zion Williamson and other struggles, this team have yet to make a significant run through the NBA Playoffs.

According to a recent report from NBA Insider Shams Charania, the Pelicans are looking to 'aggressively' pursue a top pick in this years NBA Draft, with their eyes potentially on G-League Ignite superstar Scoot Henderson, who has been the consensus No. 2 prospect behind Victor Wenbanyama for quite some time.

If they can somehow land Henderson while keeping Brandon Ingram and getting Zion healthy, this team could be a force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference next season, but for now, we will have to wait and see if they can pull off a blockbuster move.
