Report: Veteran Guard Wants To End His Career With The Miami Heat
The Miami Heat are currently on the run of a life time, and even with the Denver Nuggets standing in their way, Jimmy Butler and the Heat have overcome some steep odds all playoff long, with the Heat culture inspiring Butler to say that he wants to finish his career in a Miami Heat jersey.
Now, another former Heat player has revealed that he wants to retire with the Heat, in the form of veteran guard Goran Dragic, who spent the most important years of his career with Miami, before revealing that his family still reside in South Beach.
In seven seasons with Miami, Dragic averaged 16.2 points, 5.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game, and was integral to their last run to the Finals in the bubble, and while he won't go down as a franchise legend, it's telling of how this organization is run that so many players want to end their careers with the Heat. All in favor of giving Gogi the Haslem role next season? 🙋🏽♂️🥹
