Breaking: Veteran Point Guard Traded For Third Time In 10 Days
While there's still plenty of moves to be made this NBA off-season, we've already seen some wild player movement, and that continued on Saturday, as a veteran NBA point guard has now officially been traded for the third time in the past 10 days.
That veteran is Patty Mills, who was first moved from Brooklyn to Houston, then on to Oklahoma City, and now he has once again been moved to the Atlanta Hawks, where he will likely stay ahead of the 2023-24 season, where he could serve as the teams primary sixth man.
Over his 14-year career, the Australian has been incredibly consistent, averaging 9 PPG along with 1.7 RPG and 2.3 APG, and with a great personality and a locker room leader, he may be exactly what this Hawks team needed. The Atlanta Hawks are trading TyTy Washington, Usman Garuba, Rudy Gay and a second-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Patty Mills, sources tell ESPN. Hawks save $4.5M in the deal.
