Golden State Warriors Guard Holds Hope Of Starting Role In 2023-24
The Golden State Warriors fell short of their fifth Championship as a group in 2022-23 when they fell to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, and after re-signing Draymond Green, it's clear they want to win another before their time is done.
They then made a surprising move to land veteran point guard Chris Paul in exchange for the polarizing Jordan Poole, adding yet another veteran to this ageing core as they battle for potentially one last NBA title.
While many have doubted Paul's ability to continue playing at a high level, the Warriors clearly believe in him, and now he's reportedly holding out hope of a starting role alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, and while he may come off the bench, there's a good chance that this will happen at some point throughout the 2023-24 season.Chris Paul is holding out some hope that there’s a way for him to start next to Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, per @sam_amick
