NBA Rumors: Cavaliers Interested in 3 Free Agent Forwards

The Cleveland Cavaliers have made a couple of nice additions this offseason, securing Max Strus and Georges Niang to significantly boost their perimeter shooting. Now they're looking to add one more forward, and according to a Cavs Insider, they've got their targets set on one of three available free agents.

Cavs interested in Christian Wood, PJ Washington and Kelly Oubre

Christian Wood is potential 20-10 threat, but doesn't provide much defense. He hasn't received any offers, according to sources, that are worth more than the veteran's minimum. Would the Cavs be interested in going above that in a sign-and-trade with the Dallas Mavericks? Marc Stein says the Mavs are open to the idea.

The Lakers had been linked to Wood the past couple of weeks, but might not be interested in anything above the minimum.

Kelly Oubre Jr. is an unrestricted free agent who averaged a career-best 20.3 points this past season with the Charlotte Hornets. There haven't been a lot of other teams tied to him yet at this point in free agency.

PJ Washington is a restricted free agent with the Hornets who also scored a career-high, with 15.7 points this past season. He's said to be "far apart" in extension talks with Charlotte

The Cavs don't appear to be done adding this summer, we'll have to keep an eye on them as free agent talks continue.
