NBA Rumors: Dallas Mavericks To Move Off Veteran 'One Way Or Another'

 

The Dallas Mavericks had a very disappointing 2022-23 NBA season, despite landing All-NBA point guard Kyrie Irving, and now that they've brought him back in free agency as they look to get back into the playoffs in a crowded Western Conference next season.

In order to do that, they've still got plenty of work to do, and reportedly, it appears that veteran big man Javale McGee isn't part of those plans, as the team are now looking to move him 'one way or another', whether via release or trade.

The Mavericks plan to get rid of Javale McGee one way or another

The team have reportedly looked to move him in a deal with Detroit thus far this off-season, but nothing came to fruition, and now, it appears the veteran will be moving on to yet another team ahead of the 2023-24 season.
