NBA Rumors: Miami Heat Interested In Sharpshooter

 

The Miami Heat and Damian Lillard have made no secrets in the past few days that the two would like to come together and make another run at an NBA Championship alongside Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, but to make that happen, they need a deep team around them.

Now, it appears they have a specific target in mind, as it has been reported that the Heat are interested in landing current Washington Wizard Landry Shamet, who has spent the past two years of his career with the contending Phoenix Suns.

Over his five year career with LA, Brooklyn and Phoenix, Shamet has shot 39% from beyond the arc, and while his career high in PPG is just 10.9, he has the ability to be a great role player, especially on a team that's looking to contend with a superstar trio, so if they can find a way to land him in a deal for Lillard, it would be a big win for Miami.
