NBA Rumors: Miami Heat Star Chasing 'Jaylen Brown Money' On Next Deal

 

The Miami Heat went on a fantastic playoff run in 2022-23, falling just a few wins short of another NBA title, and while much credit has to be given to their role players, it was Jimmy Butler that was leading the way for them.

Now, it appears only a matter of time until Butler is ready for his next contract, and according to sources, he could be seeking 'beyond Jaylen Brown money' on his next deal, which would be an NBA record contract if it comes to fruition.

With the money being thrown around in the NBA these days, it wouldn't surprise anyone to see Brown's record setting 5-year, $305 million deal broken in the near future, but at his age, it's unlikely Miami would be giving this type of deal to Butler.
