BREAKING: Los Angeles Lakers Extend Superstar Anthony Davis

 

The Los Angeles Lakers took a massive step forward in 2022-23, and when they have a healthy LeBron James and Anthony Davis, they've proven they're still a massive threat in the Western Conference, and earlier today, reports emerged of a potential extension with AD.

Now, the team have made it officially, extending the perennial All-Star big man to a three-year, $186 million max extension, a deal that will keep him in Los Angeles through the 2028 season, signifying the richest per-season deal in NBA history.

Last year, Davis was as good as ever, playing in 56 games while averaging 25.6 PPG along with 12.5 RPG and 2.6 APG, and now, if the team are going for their record breaking 18th NBA title, they've made it clear that he's going to be a big part of that.
