Full List of 18 Notable Free Agents Still Available
We're about six weeks away from the start of training camps around the NBA, and while most of the free agent heavy lifting has been done already this summer, there are still a number of notable names out there that could help teams fill out their rotations.
Here, we present 18 players who should still be able to find an NBA home (though we include two that, for whatever reasons, based on history, most likely won't).
We've broken it down into three different categories.
Definitely Viable Rotation Players: (in order of potential impact)
Christian Wood
PJ Washington (r)
Kelly Oubre
Jaylen Nowell
Terrence Ross
JaMychal Green
TJ Warren
Hamidou Diallo
Bismack Biyombo
For Christian Wood, the Los Angeles Lakers are still seen as his most likely landing spot, but the Miami Heat have the potential to possibly nab Wood, as do the Chicago Bulls.
The PJ Washington RFA case continues to drag on, with extension talks rumored to be not close, and he is now likely to simply pick up his qualifying offer and become a full free agent next summer.
Perhaps Rotation Players in a Smaller Role? (alphabetical order)
Will Barton
Wenyen Gabriel
Danny Green
Blake Griffin
Stanley Johnson
Kendrick Nunn
Justise Winslow
And finally:
Why Have These Guys Not Been In The League? :
DeMarcus Cousins
Isaiah Thomas
Boogie was out of the league last season, after having bit parts in Milwaukee and Denver the year before. He's been begging for another shot in the league for 12 months now, and there are some who still feel he can be an impact player in the NBA, on some level.
"DeMarcus Cousins right now would be a top 5 big man in basketball."

And as for IT, his last run in the league came in the final weeks of the 2021-22 season, and he showed up for 17 solid games as a backup in Charlotte, proving to be a valuable team leader off the bench.
