Golden State Warriors Giving Tryouts to 6 Notable Free Agents

The Golden State Warriors still have one roster spot to fill for the coming NBA season, and they're leaving no stone unturned in their search for the right veteran to join the squad with championship aspirations.

According to NBA Insider Shams Charania, the Dubs are giving workouts to six notable free agents.

Juan Toscano-Anderson, Dion Waiters, Tony Snell, Kent Bazemore, Harry Giles and Trey Burke will be given a look-see over the next two weeks, writes Shams. The Warriors have also held other rounds of workouts trying to find just the right fit.

Toscano-Anderson already has a ring with the Warriors, from 2022, and the Dubs know full well what he can do, as he got into 73 games with the team that season.

Waiters hasn't played in the NBA in three year, but when he last suited up, with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020, he was part of a championship team.

Sharpshooter Tony Snell is a 9-year veteran, with a career 39.4% mark from three-point land. He last played with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2022.

Bazemore began his career in Golden State, way back in 2012-13, and last played in the NBA in 2022 with the Lakers.

Former Duke product Harry Giles has been on the radar of several teams this offseason; he last played in the NBA in 2021 with the Portland Trail Blazers.

New Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. has plenty of work ahead of him this summer to evaluate all of this potential talent for his team's 14th roster spot heading into camp.
