San Antonio Spurs Reveal Role For Superstar Rookie In 2023-24

Much of the talk of the past 12 months around the NBA has been the impending arrival of French phenom Victor Wembanyama, who has been touted as one of the greatest basketball prospects of all-time, and now, we are just a number of weeks away from his official debut.

The 7-foot-5 star has all the skills and the size to be a star in the NBA, but there's still plenty of question marks surrounding him, and recently, the Spurs have now answered one of those, as it's been revealed they will play him at the power forward spot, opting to go with more size at the 5.

With the spotlight of the sports world on him, and likely to be so for some time to come, this will likely be the best move for Victor as he looks to find his groove in the NBA, and if he can gel with his teammates while playing the four, we could be in for a very fun rookie campaign.
