In a stunning turn of events, after a summer of uneasiness about the future of Giannis Antetokounmpo in Milwuakee, the Bucks' superstar and former Finals MVP has agreed to a 3-year extension.

The deal is worth $186M, and keeps Giannis in Milwaukee until 2028, pending a player option in the final year of the deal.

After suggesting earlier in the summer that he wouldn't be signing an extension so fast, that he wanted to be sure he was in line for another title in Milwaukee, Giannis watched the Bucks go out and trade for Damian Lillard, giving the team an massive 1-2 punch. That obviously convinced Giannis to stick around for a bit longer.
