Charlotte Hornets Waive Controversial Young Player

 

This summer has been an interesting one for the Charlotte Hornets, and now, after weeks of waiting for this move, they have officially waived young big man Kai Jones.

The move comes after weeks of him posting controversial and concerning videos all over social media, and now, it appears that the team decided his athleticism and talent weren't worth all of the negative attention he was bringing to the organization.

Despite the social media antics, Jones remains a naturally talented big man who has plenty of promise at just 22-years of age, and while it may take some doing, there's a belief around the league that if he can stop the antics off the court, he can become a valuable piece for someone going forward.
