Former Golden State Warriors Forward Signs in New Zealand
After being a regular rotation piece for the Golden State Warriors last season, free agent small forward Anthony Lamb has decided to take his talents to New Zealand to continue his career.
Free agent Anthony Lamb has agreed to a deal with the NBL’s New Zealand Breakers, which includes an NBA opt-out clause, sources told @hoopshype. The Breakers will play two games coming up against the Trail Blazers and Jazz. Lamb appeared in 62 games for the Warriors last season.

Lamb, 25, became a free agent this offseason and wasn't able to find NBA work, so he's signed on as an injury-replacement with the New Zealand Breakers of the NBL and is joining the team immediately. He does, however, hold an "NBA opt-out" in his contract, were a job Stateside to come up.
Lamb averaged 6.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 19 minutes per night in 62 games with the Warriors last year, after getting minimal run with the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets in his first two seasons appearing in the NBA.
The University of Vermont star has had offcourt troubles following him since leaving college, as he's been accused of sexual assault from his time there in 2019. He flatly denies the allegations.
