NBA Rumors: Denver Nuggets Star Unlikely To Sign Extension Ahead Of 2023-24 Season
The Denver Nuggets made franchise history in 2022-23 as they secured the first ever NBA Championship in team history, and now, with two of the league's most talented players, they will look to back it up with another deep run this season.
Now, one of those stars is eligible for a major extension, but according to a recent report, the Nuggets star Jamal Murray will not sign that extension ahead of the 2023-24 season, with Murray telling The Denver Post that they 'haven't had that discussion yet'.
Ultimately, it's hard to see Murray, who was drafted by Denver in the first round, playing for any other NBA franchise given how they stuck by him during his injury issues, but it appears as though an extension is still some time away.A preseason extension for Jamal Murray appears unlikely, plus more notes from around the Northwest: https://t.co/XV8bmagBIp
