BREAKING: More Brutal Health News For Robert Williams III
The undeniable ability is there. But the availability just hasn't been. The Boston Celtics learned it, now the Portland Trail Blazers will have to face the facts, as they've revealed today that Robert Williams III will have to undergo yet another knee surgery.

What type of surgery, and how long the timeline for return will be is still as yet undetermined, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
The defensive dynamo had two knee surgeries in five months heading into last season with Boston, and was only able to play 35 games. He became part of the trade with Portland that landed the Celtics Jrue Holiday.
Williams III, 26, was named to the NBA All-Defensive Team in 2021-22, ranking first in defensive rating and second in blocked shots per game, at 2.2.
Through six games with the Trail Blazers this season, he had played in just under 20 minutes per night, averaging 6.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks.
It's a tough blow for the rebuilding Blazers, who obviously had hoped that 'Time Lord' had put all the knee troubles behind him.
