NBA Hand Down Suspension To Draymond Green After Latest Incident
The NBA saw some incredible action overnight, but that also came with plenty of drama, as the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves engaged in a major scuffle that led to plenty of fines on Wednesday.
During the game, Green put Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in a choke hold, and while three fines were handed out as a result, Green was hit extra hard, as the NBA have officially suspended him for five games.
The length of the suspension comes as a result of past behavioural problems from Green, and with the Warriors dropping five straight games to sit at 6-6 on the season, this is the type of blow that they didn't need if they want to get their season on the right track. The NBA is suspending Golden State’s Draymond Green for five games, source tells ESPN.
