NBA Rumors: Chicago Bulls Star Would Turn Down A Trade To Eastern Conference Contender
The NBA world is buzzing over the possibility of Zach Lavine being traded from Chicago to a major contender this season, but word on the street is now that he would reject a trade to the New York Knicks if that were to come to fruition.
On the other hand, the New York Post's Stefan Bondy reports that the Knicks aren't chasing Lavine that hard either, so despite the predictions from fans and analysts, it doesn't appear that the All-Star will be reunited with Tom Thibodeau.
Zach LaVine STILL prefers not to be traded to the Knicks, per .@SbondyNBA. Further, the Knicks aren't 'keen' on including RJ Barrett in a potential deal.

The Knicks have built a deep roster full of balance and chemistry with plenty of tradeable assets, but despite this, it appears they are waiting for a top-tier star to become available, and at this point, Lavine just isn't that, so this report makes sense for both parties.
