NBA Rumors: Top 3 Trade Destinations For Bol Bol

There was a lot of excitement this past summer when the Orlando Magic chose not to retain Bol Bol, allowing him to become a free agent. Many teams were said to be interested in signing the intriguing 7'3" talent. The Phoenix Suns won out, but things haven't quite gone as planned.

Bol simply hasn't been able to crack the Suns' rotation, and has only played in three games thus far (for a total of 7 minutes), leaving him at the end of the bench as a DNP-Coach's Decision 14 times, including the last nine consecutive games.

It's time to start considering a trade for Bol Bol, and these three teams could make the most sense:

San Antonio Spurs

Imagine Bol and his 7'5" wingspan and 9-foot-6 standing reach, alongside the 'alien', 7'4" Victor Wembanyama on the court at the same time. It's a tantalizing thought, and one that basketball fans everywhere would love to see. For Bol, it could be a great learning experience with coach Gregg Popovich, and even watching Wemby up close. Hey, the Spurs aren't playing for anything this year anyway, Pop, why not give it a chance?

Toronto Raptors

Bol Bol has been mentioned as a Raptors kind of guy in the past. Team president Masai Ujiri certainly loves his African prospects. All Bol needs is a situation that can offer him more development, and the Raptors have been a good franchise to make that happen. Bol certainly showed an enticing toolkit of talent last season at times.

Portland Trail Blazers

With a dynamic backcourt already in place, and Deandre Ayton in the frontcourt, the Blazers are still looking for some other exciting young pieces to build around, and Bol Bol could fit this roster nicely.
