NBA Rumors: Young Detroit Pistons Guard Upset With Current Role
The Detroit Pistons have built themselves a very solid core over the past three years led by former No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham, with names like James Wiseman, Marvin Bagley and Saddiq Bey all playing key roles in their very bright future.
Perhaps the biggest key for them unlocking their potential is 2022 first-round draft pick Jaden Ivey, but for some reason, the team have persisted with Killian Hayes as their starting guard, and now, it could be causing issues.
According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Ivey isn't exactly thrilled about his current role, and given how high they drafted him with the expectation of being paired up with Cunningham in the starting lineup, this is a developing story to definitely keep an eye on.The Detroit Pistons have been starting Killian Hayes over Jaden Ivey to begin the season
