Insider: PJ Tucker Has 2 Contenders Interested in Trade

PJ Tucker has been quite vocal about his displeasure with his role on the LA Clippers. He’s even called out his teammates, by saying “there aren’t enough balls on the planet for this team.” For him, in fact, there are no balls available, as he hasn’t played a single minute in a full month.

It’s apparent that a trade is inevitable at this point, and now the latest rumours have two Eastern Conference contenders clearly in the running to deal for him, as related by Bleacher Report, via Insider Marc Stein.

“The (Miami) Heat & (Milwaukee) Bucks have reportedly been linked to a potential trade for disgruntled Clippers forward PJ Tucker.
@TheSteinLine reported the Heat & Bucks have both expressed ‘a healthy level of admiration’ for Tucker, who has been seeking more playing time or a trade by the Clippers.”
Tucker was dealt to the Clippers from the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this season along with James Harden. But he’s seen his contributions plummet in LA, having been nailed to the bench the previous 13 games. His scoring, while never a strong point, was also down to just 1.2 ppg when he was playing.
The Clippers actually had seemed to have found their stride this month, without Tucker in the lineup, winning nine straight, before getting demolished in their past two games against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Boston Celtics.
