Hawks Rumors: “Determined” To Make Changes; Top 3 Trade Targets
They tried bringing in Dejounte Murray. They tried shipping out John Collins. But the Atlanta Hawks still remain mired near the bottom of the Eastern Conference, currently sitting at 13-20 just out of a Play-In spot. Don’t expect the front office to sit idly by and watch another season slip away.
In a Threads discussion, insider Adrian Wojnarowski said to expect big changes in the ATL.

"Absolutely open for business on trades. GM Landry Fields seems determined to make changes to that roster," said Woj.
And the Hawks are hoping to make some BIG changes, with these three players notably at the top of their wish list:
Laurie Markkanen
The Utah Jazz All-Star was the NBA’s most improved player last season and insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports puts him at the top of the Hawks' most wanted list. The seven-footer is averaging 23.2 points 8.5 rebounds and 37.6% from long range. He would be a perfect compliment to Trae Young.
Pascal Siakam
If the Hawks are unable to pry Markannen loose from Utah, Siakam would be just as big of a difference-maker in their frontcourt. They have been “the suitors most connected to Siakam” says Fischer, but do they have enough to offer the Toronto Raptors, who we know have put an extremely high value on Siakam. He’s been the Raptors leading scorer for the past five seasons, and this year is averaging 22.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and five assists.
Dorian Finney-Smith
If it turns out that their trade assets aren’t quite enough to land one of the big fish above, they’ll have to wade into shallower waters. But Finney-Smith would definitely be a good catch as a prime 3-and-D wing. He’s currently averaging just a tick under 10 points a game with five boards and an impressive 42.6% shooting from beyond the arc.
