The 11-year veteran and 2-time All-Star averaged 33 points on 45% shooting from 3-point range for Salt Lake City in the G League, scoring at least 30 in all four games that he played.
I.T. last suited up in the NBA two years ago, finishing up the season with the Charlotte Hornets. After two successful 10-day deals in March of 2022, the Hornets signed Thomas for the rest of that season, where he averaged 8.3 points and 39.7% from La Grange in 17 games, playing about 13 minutes a night off the bench.
In Phoenix, he'll add a tremendous veteran presence and some scoring off the bench at the point, joining other second-unit members like Bol Bol, Eric Gordon and Royce O'Neal. KD, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal have the scoring thing taken care of on the starting unit.
