NBA Rumors: 3 More Teams Emerge As Brandon Ingram Landing Spots

With Brandon Ingram likely on his way out of New Orleans this summer, (the Pelicans aren't inclined to give him the max extension he's looking for), certain teams have stepped up as trade possibilities.

We've already had a look at three contenders who could swing a deal for the former All-Star, now three more teams have emerged as intriguing possibilities to land Ingram.

Golden State Warriors

The Dubs are looking for a significant boost, a fresh new life to re-ignite their contender status, and Brandon Ingram could be just the ticket. A frontcourt scorer who can pour in 20-24 points a night, and even take some on an extra playmaking load as he's averaged close to six assists per game the last three years. As well, with his 7'3" wingspan, he can cause some havoc on defense at times as well.

Detroit Pistons

This is a team that is in desperate need of a re-set. After bringing up the rear with the worst record in the league for the last two years, Detroit is desperate for a proven star performer to line up with Cade Cunningham. They certainly have the assets to send New Orleans in return; the Pels have previously shown interest in Isaiah Stewart, and they could include either him or Jalen Duren in a deal.

Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks are looking to move one of their star guards, and doing so in a trade for Ingram would better balance their lineup. One recent proposal had Dejounte Murray and AJ Griffin going back to New Orleans. The Pels are said to be interested in Murray. In addition, a trade for a point guard would allow them to move CJ McCollum back to his natural shooting guard spot.
