Breaking: Precious Achiuwa Makes His Free Agent Decision

Precious Achiuwa headed to the New York Knicks along with OG Anunoby in the big trade from the Toronto Raptors last season. And although his impact paled in comparison to Anunoby's, Achiuwa was a nice fit as a back up big for New York, and the two sides have now agreed on a return, with the Knicks re-signing the hometown free agent to a new one-year deal.

With Achiuwa's re-signing, the Knicks have now rounded out their roster for the 2024-25 season.  

The 24-year-old was born in Nigeria, but grew up in New York City.

In 49 games after coming over from Toronto, Achiuwa scored 7.6 points per game along with 7.2 rebounds for the Knicks.
