Top 3 Free Agent Point Guards Still Available

Most of the big names have come off the board in the NBA's free agent frenzy, but there are still some notables who can help teams looking for another solid rotation piece.

We start our look at the best of the rest, by perusing the Top 3 Free Agent Guards still available.

Tyus Jones

The Washington Wizards point guard is looking for a starter's role, as he finally was able to land in DC this past season. Jones spent several seasons backing up Ja Morant in Memphis, and always performed admirably, leading the Grizzlies to an elite record with him at the helm. In Washington this year, he averaged career highs of 12 points and 7.3 assists while shooting 41.4% from three, in 29 minutes per night.

Kyle Lowry

The former NBA champion is 38 now, and would probably be okay taking on a less demanding role. It would be surprising if he doesn't stay home in Philly and accept a deal to take another run with the Philadelphia 76ers, who have loaded up by signing free agent Paul George.

Spencer Dinwiddie

He had a down season, putting up his worst numbers since his earliest years in the league, averaging 10.5 points and 4.7 assists. The Dallas Mavericks are considering bringing Dinwiddie back to the scene of greater success. He averaged 17.1 points per game on 40.4 percent three-point shooting. Dallas traded him to the Brooklyn Nets in February 2023 as part of the Kyrie Irving deal.
