Breaking: Chris Bosh To Play Notable Game For 1st Time in 8 Years

He hasn't played an NBA game since 2016 due to blood clots, but now former Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat big man Chris Bosh will be playing in a big game next week — his first time in basketball competition in eight years.

Bosh will play in a special farewell game to Goran Dragic, which will feature a number of current and former NBA stars.

Among those that will play in the game on August 24th are the biggest names in the NBA today, including Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jimmy Butler, in addition to retired international players Luis Scola, Luol Deng, Steve Nash and Bogdan Bogdanovic, plus many of Dragic's former teammates.

Bosh was a teammate of Dragic, who retired last year, for a year and a half before the blood clots forced Bosh out of the game for good. He was able to play just 44 games in 2014-15 because of the health issue, and then just 53 games in 2015-16.

Bosh was the No. 4 overall pick by the Raptors in the 2003 NBA Draft, and went on to be an 11-time All-Star (in his 13 seasons), and averaged 19.2 points and 8.5 rebounds along with 2.0 assists and 1.0 block per game. He played 7 seasons in Toronto and 6 more in Miami.
