Fan favorite Isaiah Thomas is getting another look-see from an NBA team, this time in a tryout for the Sacramento Kings.

The Kings will hold a free agent tryout in a competitive workout with current Kings players, and also includes UFAs Lonnie Walker, Tony Bradley, and Juan Toscano-Anderson.
But all eyes, as usual, will be on Thomas, who is beloved around the NBA for the effort he gives on the court despite being undersized at 5'9", his leadership ability, and, of course, that smile.
The diminutive point guard is a two-time All-Star, and a top-5 finisher in MVP voting in the 2016-17 season, averaging 28.9 points. But hip problems derailed his career after that, and he's never had the same explosiveness or been the same player since.
He appeared in just six games last season, for the Phoenix Suns, but only played three minutes per game. He went unsigned the year before, and played just 22 games the season before that.
It would be fitting if Thomas was able to catch on and finish his career with the Kings, as they were the team that drafted him with the last pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He spent his first three seasons there, capped by a 20-point-per-game performance in the 2013-14 season, along with 6.3 assists. He went on to the Celtics soon after to really make his mark and become a fan favorite league-wide.
