Proposed 4-Team Trade Scenario Sends Raptors' Bruce Brown Out West

As training camps approach in about a month, teams around the NBA are considering final moves they can make to fill out their roster and plug holes they feel need some attention.

Insider Brett Siegel of Clutch Points brings us a wild 4-team scenario he suggests would fill the needs of each team heading into the season.

Miami Heat receive

  • G Jordan Clarkson
  • F Jae'Sean Tate

Utah Jazz receive

  • G/F Bruce Brown
  • F Duncan Robinson
  • F Nikola Jovic,
  • LAL 2026 2nd Round Pick (via MIA)
  • TOR 2027 2nd Round Pick

Toronto Raptors receive

  • F John Collins
  • OKC/DAL/PHI 2026 2nd Round Pick (2nd least favorable, via HOU)
  • 2027 MEM 2nd Round Pick (via HOU)

Houston Rockets receive

  • F/C Kelly Olynyk

All told, the Heat would sacrifice Duncan Robinson and prized youngster Nikola Jovic in order to secure a solid, proven scorer in Clarkson to join Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier in the backcourt, while Tate could provide, "an athletic forward who, with the right guidance and training, could be a great two-way slasher on the wing and fill Caleb Martin's void," suggests Siegel.

The Jazz would add a nice young piece in Jovic to help in their rebuild, while Robinson would open up the floor for their star forward Laurie Markkanen, and Brown could be a nice "secondary playmaker and facilitator in the final year of his contract." And, we propose, another trade piece for Jazz CEO Danny Ainge at the deadline.

The Raptors need some more size and athleticism in the frontcourt to run the floor with Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett, and Immanuel Quickley. Collins would bring that.

For the Rockets, they give up a couple of draft picks to land themselves a big in Olynyk who can spread the floor as a nice contrast to centers Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams.

It's a bold, wild proposal from Siegel, but it's some food for thought for each of those teams.
