3-Time NBA Champion Retires

After a stellar career as one of four players in NBA history to win championships with three different teams, and playing key roles on each one, 37-year-old shooting guard Danny Green is announcing his retirement.

Green won championships with the 2014 San Antonio Spurs, the 2019 Toronto Raptors, and the 2020 Los Angeles Lakers.

Green made his official announcement on his own podcast on Thursday, as related to us by insider Shams Charania.

In 15 seasons, Green finishes his career averaging 8.7 points a game with a three point percentage of exactly 40%. He also averaged 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal per game in about 25 minutes a contest.
