PJ Tucker is Finished with the Clippers
He spent most of last season nailed to the end of the bench for the LA Clippers, now power forward and former NBA champion PJ Tucker will finally be getting out of LA. According to insider Shams Charania, Tucker will be away from the team while they work on finding him a new destination.

Tucker was not a happy camper last season after being acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers along with James Harden early on by the Clippers. Tucker suffered through no less than 48 DNP-CDs (did not play–coach's decision). In all, he played in just 28 games for LA, averaging 1.6 points and 2.5 rebounds.
But both sides seem to finally agree that he needs to move on.
"P.J. is a pro who has achieved a lot in his career and there's more he wants to accomplish," the Clippers said in a statement. "We will continue working with P.J. and his representative to find the best situation for him moving forward."
Tucker was fined by the NBA last season after publicly expressing his desire to be traded.
The 39-year-old won an NBA title in 2021 with the Milwaukee Bucks, and is now on an expiring contract, the final year of a 3-year deal, at $11.5 million.
