Steph Curry To Miss Time in Tough Blow For Warriors

Earlier in his career, Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry had numerous problems with ankle sprains. Now, at the age of 36, an issue has resurfaced, and he will miss some time.

Curry was forced out of their game with the LA Clippers on Sunday, limping to the locker room in the 4th quarter.

Head coach Steve Kerr said after the game it's an ankle sprain that is either "mild or moderate", but further tests will confirm more.

Sports doctor Dr. Evan Jeffries notes that because Curry still wears Zamst ankle braces, it should lessen the severity of the sprain. He says the timeline of healing for a Grade I sprain would be 1-2 weeks, but for a Grade II it would be 4-6 weeks.

Without Curry in the lineup, the Warriors will have to rely on more minutes from Brandin Podziemski, De'Anthony Melton, and Buddy Hield.

The two-time MVP and 10-time All-Star was averaging 18.3 points and 6.7 assists thus far this season, while shooting nearly 43% from three-point range.
