Thunder Lose Big Offseason Acquisition Hartenstein For Lengthy Period
A bad break for the Oklahoma City Thunder even before the season begins, as they've lost their big offseason free agent addition Isaiah Hartenstein for at least six weeks.
The Thunder have announced that Isaiah Hartenstein suffered a small, non-displaced fracture in his left hand in Tuesday’s preseason game in Denver.

Hartenstein suffered what the team is calling a small, non-displaced fracture in his left hand in Tuesday’s exhibition game against the Nuggets.
He'll be re-evaluated in five to six weeks.
The big man made himself into a prominent member of last year's New York Knicks squad, averaging 7.8 points and 8.3 boards.
He signed a 3-year, $87 million free agent deal with the Thunder in July.
The Knicks then went out and fortified their pivot later in the summer in a blockbuster trade for Karl-Anthony Towns.
