Although the calf strain injury was suffered on Monday night, insider Shams Charania says Gordon has been hurt for a while now.
Aaron Gordon has been playing through an assortment of injuries really over the last week or so.
Gordon signed a four-year, $133 million extension with the Nuggets this past summer, and has been a vital part of the Nuggets core along with Nikola Jokic and Murray. The trio led the team to the NBA title in 2023.
Given his continued and consistent great impact on the floor, Gordon will be greatly missed by the Nuggets.

Although the graphic above doesn't have it completely correct, Gordon's numbers are very strong this season, as he's averaging 15.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game with an astounding 54.5% shooting from long range.
“In many ways, Aaron is the heart and soul of the team,” said Nuggets general manager Calvin Booth this past summer. “He does a lot of things on the floor that makes us go. The guys rally around him in the locker room.”
That's saying quite a bit considering that Jokic, the focal point of the team on the floor, is a three-time MVP.
