NBA Trade Rumors: Top 3 Landing Spots for Wizards' Target Kyle Kuzma

With the Washington Wizards once again expected to be one of the cellar dwellers in the NBA this season, in the midst of a rebuild, Kyle Kuzma is one of the most logical trade candidates around. The team has made it clear that "they are absolutely willing to do business."

Kuzma averaged 22.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists last season in Washington, and would be a huge boost to any contender able to land him. Let's have a look at three of the top trade destinations for Kyle Kuzma.

Los Angeles Lakers

This is the most obvious destination for Kuzma, as the Lakers have been linked to him since the beginning of the off-season. The team needs another scorer to support LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and Kuz is no stranger to the bright lights of LA. He helped the Lakers win the 'bubble' championship in 2020 and spent his first four seasons with the team.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors have been searching for another scoring star to pair with Steph Curry, and have gone big-game hunting ever since the end of last season. But with Paul George, Laurie Markkanen and others not being available to them, they'd be best to focus on the next tier of star players. The Lakers should be able to put a package together that could land Kuzma from the Wiz.

Sacramento Kings

This is a team, ready to make a big push into the playoffs, this season, and their acquisition of free agent DeMar DeRozan this past summer is evidence of that. Recently, Nathaniel Holloway of The Sporting News suggested that Kuzma could form a 'Big Four' with De'Aaron Fox, DeRozan, and Domantas Sabonis.
