LeBron James to Golden State Warriors Trade Talk Re-Emerges

We all recall the brothership that LeBron James and Steph Curry developed at the Olympics in the summer. Rumors began circulating that they'd love to play together in the NBA. That talk has now re-emerged, as noted NBA insider Brian Windhorst of ESPN says it's out there again...

“I would be lying if I said that there haven't been some conversations in the league, would LeBron at some point this year revisit that," said Windhorst.

And adding even more fuel to the fire, Kendrick Perkins (for whatever that's worth) has dropped another bomb, suggesting that the Lakers would not stand in the way if LeBron requested a trade.

“My sources tell me that if LeBron James at any point comes out and says that he wants to be traded or he wants to entertain it, they’re going to entertain it. It ain’t no holding him back,” said Perkins.

James, for the first time in his 22-year career, is looking a little tired this season. His 23 points per game is the lowest scoring rate he's had since his rookie season back in 2004. He is still dishing and rebounding at his usual elite rates, with 9.1 assists and 8.0 rebounds.

The Lakers, however, are not looking like a true title contender, as they've lost 7 of their last 10 games, and sit at 13-11. The Warriors are 14-9, and Curry's scoring is also down to 23 PPG. They both need help. Perhaps teaming up could be the answer.
