NBA Trade Rumors: 4 Teams In Pursuit of Kyle Kuzma
With the Washington Wizards, as expected, floundering at the very bottom of the NBA standings with a 2-16 record, it's obvious that they will be looking to trade their few desirable assets for futures this season. Kyle Kuzma, although his scoring and minutes are down a bit this season, is a top trade candidate.
According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, four contending (or hopeful contenders, at least) have Kuzma on their radar.
The Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, and Cleveland Cavaliers are among the teams monitoring Kyle Kuzma, per @MikeAScotto

In addition to the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, and Cleveland Cavaliers, Scotto notes that other teams have had interest in Kuzma recently.
“The Dallas Mavericks nearly traded for Kuzma last season before pivoting to acquisitions of PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford. The Indiana Pacers were interested in Kuzma before swinging a blockbuster trade to acquire Pascal Siakam. The Sacramento Kings have also been linked to Kuzma for the past two seasons. Other teams who’ve kept tabs on Kuzma include the Bucks, Warriors, Lakers, Heat, and Cavaliers, HoopsHype has learned.”
Certainly lots of interest from contenders in a player who can put up 20 points on any given night. Kuzma has averaged 22.2 and 21.2 the previous two seasons, though he is down to 15.8 this year while his minutes have decreased from above 30 to just 27 per game. But as a secondary scorer on a contender, Kuzma brings size and scoring and would be a great add for any of those teams.
The Lakers of course, are familiar with Kuzma, as he began his career there and was a part of their bubble championship. The Heat, Bucks and Warriors are all also known to be looking for another scorer to take the pressure off their stars.
