NBA Trade Rumors: 4 Teams Listed As De'Aaron Fox Trade Destinations
Could it be that the Mike Brown firing by the Sacramento Kings was an attempt to keep star point guard De'Aaron Fox happy? It seems there was a growing discontent amongst the players about Brown's increasingly aggressive criticism of his players (including direct inferences to Fox) during his press conferences amidst the team's struggles. Like this one, just hours before he was fired:

It was known around the league that Fox was, for the first time, increasingly considering the option of moving on in a trade.
Tim MacMahon said on ESPN's Hoop Collective podcast recently that "if Fox is going to ask out, it seems like the tea leaves are pointing that way.
"When you're appearing on podcasts with Draymond Green and laying groundwork, you can see how people read into it."
Four teams were also named as leading potential destinations if Fox does ask out:
- San Antonio Spurs
- Houston Rockets
- LA Lakers
- Miami Heat
“There’s also been talk about Miami, given his connection to Bam Adebayo. Who knows what other suitors might emerge, or which of these teams will actually pursue him if it comes to that?”
Less than six weeks to the trade deadline, and we'll see if Fox's name continues to trend.
