4-Team Blockbuster Would Get Jimmy Butler AND De’Aaron Fox Dealt
Jimmy Butler. De'Aaron Fox. Two big names. Two big trades trying to be worked out in the next week. But what if there was a way for both of those players to be dealt in the same deal—a mind-blowing four-way blockbuster?
That's what insider Evan Sidery is proposing with this wild four-team trade involving the Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, and San Antonio Antonio Spurs. And yes, it's all cap-compliant:
Phoenix Suns Get:As the Suns scramble to find a workable Jimmy Butler trade, don’t be surprised if they approach the Kings and Spurs to create a true mega deal framework.

Here’s a hypothetical four-team concept between the Heat, Suns, Kings, and Spurs that is cap compliant:
Suns = Jimmy Butler,… pic.twitter.com/UZLq4EpFRz
- Jimmy Butler
- Colby Jones
- De’Aaron Fox
- Kevin Huerter
- Bradley Beal
- Keldon Johnson
- four first-round picks via Spurs (3) and Suns (1)
- Harrison Barnes
- Tre Jones
- Trey Lyles
- two first-round picks via Suns
If this hypothetical monster deal went through, Butler would get to his preferred location in Phoenix, Fox would get to his place of choice in San Antonio, and the Kings would get a nice return for Fox in the form of Keldon Johnson and FOUR first-rounders.
Whether the Heat would be happy with the return of Barnes, Jones and Lyles plus a pair of first-rounders is in question, though they are not in the best bargaining position.
The one real sticking point would be for the Kings, who would have to take on the onerous, league-worst contract of Bradley Beal, that has two more years and $110 million to run after this season. Plus the fact that Beal would have to waive his no-trade clause.
Negotiations are continuing in earnest all over the league with just one week to go before the trade deadline.
