Here's One Player The Heat Do NOT Want in Exchange For Jimmy Butler
As the Miami Heat continue to shop Jimmy Butler around the league to find their best offer, one big name has emerged as a player that Pat Riley and the Heat have absolutely no interest in taking on. And that would be Bradley Beal of the Phoenix Suns.
According to a report, "Sources told ESPN that the Heat have no desire to take back the $110 million owed to Beal."
Should Phoenix be able to somehow find a third team to take on that albatross of a contract, perhaps they'd have a chance. But looking at the numbers, both financial and actual basketball stats, those chances would seem to be slim and none.
The Suns are a top 10 team this season when Bradley Beal is off the court compared to one of the worst when he’s playing:

Beal On = -9.3 NetRtg (28th)

Bradley Beal has been an anchor for the Suns. But not in a good way. His play on the court has pulled them down to the abyss, leaving them with a minus-9 NetRtg, which is third-worst in the NBA. But when Beal is off the court, the Suns rise to 9th overall, with a +3.3 NetRtg.
Then there's the issue of the Heat being ineligible to take back more salary than they send out because they are an apron team. Butler's $49.798M in salary this season is less than Beal's outrageous $50.3M.
Beal is averaging 17.8 points for this Suns team with 3.7 boards and 3.1 assists, all those numbers are nine-year lows for him, while he's playing 33 minutes a night when in the lineup. He's only played 23 of Phoenix's 33 games this season.
