NBA Trade Rumors: 2 Leading Contenders for a Cam Johnson Trade with Nets
The Brooklyn Nets have already dealt Dennis Schroder and Dorian Finney-Smith this season, but their biggest trade piece is still out there for grabs in Cam Johnson.
A new report from Michael Scotto of HoopsHype places two Western Division clubs as firmly in the running for a Johnson trade:
Oklahoma City Thunder
With a multitude of draft picks and young talent to dangle in return, the Thunder can likely put together a package to top all others for Brooklyn, if they so desire.
Johnson is having a career year, combining his perimeter defense with an average of 19.1 points and 42.9% from 3-point range. His addition could further solidify the Thunder as the leading contender to come out of the West, and indeed, a true championship contender (as if they aren't already).
Scotto mentions names like Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe, Kenrich Williams, Ousmane Dieng, and Jaylin Williams as some potential pieces that OKC could offer in a package for Johnson.
Sacramento Kings
The Kings are a major pursuer of Johnson, and their potential offer is starting to surface.
The Kings have been openly shopping a trade package consisting of Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles for a win-now upgrade.

Insider Evan Sidery suggests that Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles along with recent lottery pick Devin Carter could convince the Nets to part with Johnson.
The Kings need to do something big to turn themselves into serious playoff contenders, and to try to convince De'Aaron Fox to stay.
