Report: Warriors Choosing Between Jimmy Butler & Zach LaVine?
While a Jimmy Butler trade gets ever closer and the Golden State Warriors appear to be one of the frontrunners once again, we're hearing that the Dubs—or at least some in the organization—would prefer Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls as a "safer" option than Butler.

Anthony Slater in The Athletic tells us:
LaVine is viewed by some within the organization as the safer option. At 29, he’s five and a half years younger and some $6 million cheaper than Butler this season, though his contract extends longer and he’s had some recent health concerns. There are risks all over the board.
And the fact that many favor him despite the massive financial commitment tells you all you need to know about what Butler has done to his reputation with his actions this season.
As many around the Warriors understand that they need "a true second scorer next to (Steph) Curry," they see the very nice offensive season that LaVine is having, averaging 24 points per game and 44.6% from long range.
Just about a week to go until the trade deadline... The Warriors will have to decide in a hurry.
