The NBA's trade deadline isn't for another four days, but two massive blockbusters have already taken place. Fox will now team up with Victor Wembanyama for a dynamic duo in San Antonio for the team to take far into the future.
In return for LaVine, the Bulls received Kevin Huerter, Tre Jones, and Zach Collins. They also get to keep their 2025 first-round pick that was owed to the Spurs.

The Spurs, in addition to Fox, also get Jordan McLaughlin. And they managed to pull off this coup without giving up any of their core pieces, including Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan, Keldon Johnson and primo rookie Stephon Castle.
LaVine, meanwhile, is now reunited with DeMar DeRozan in Sacramento after spending a few years together in Chicago.
The Kings also get a boatload of draft picks as well, plus Sidy Cissoko. The three first-round picks are in 2025 (CHA), 2027 (SAS) and 2031 (MIN). They also get three second-round picks (2025 CHI, 2028 DEN, 2028 – their own pick back).
This blockbuster is the second in the last 24 hours, following the mind-bending, most shocking trade in NBA history of Luka Doncic going to the LA Lakers for Anthony Davis.
