BREAKING: Bucks & Wizards Pull Off Trade for Kyle Kuzma

The Milwaukee Bucks have made their move in an attempt to add more athleticism and scoring in their bid to get back into the hunt, sending Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards for Kyle Kuzma.

The full trade sees the Bucks also sending AJ Johnson and a pick swap along with Middleton to the Wizards for Kuzma, Patrick Baldwin Jr. and second-round draft compensation, sources tell ESPN.

Middleton’s value had sunk so low that Milwaukee had to include their most recent first-round pick in AJ Johnson in order to unload the remainder of Middleton's contract. The 33-year-old is nowhere near the All-Star player he used to be. He's averaging an 11-year low 12.6 points and 3.7 rebounds in 23 minutes a game, while playing just 23 games overall. Kuzma, for his part, has seen his numbers take massive dips this season, but some of that may be due to the woeful team that he was playing with (the 8-41 Wiz). He's averaging four-year lows in 15.2 points per game, 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
