Breaking: Clippers & Hawks Complete 3-Player Trade
The Atlanta Hawks continue their tear-down, and the Los Angeles Clippers have added a veteran scoring threat off the bench in a three-player deal that sees the Hawks trade Bogdan Bogdanovic and three second-round picks to LA for Terance Mann and Bones Hyland.

Bogdanovic, 32, is on the decline, having his worst season in the NBA, averaging 10.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists this season while shooting a woeful 30% from three-point range, down from his 38% career mark.
He still has another season remaining on his contract, plus a club option for another year, at a $16M annual salary.
Bogdan Bogdanovic has had a down year in Atlanta but the track record of success as a shooter/scorer and on-ball decision maker at least gives you an idea that the 32-year-old can rebound with the Clippers. The team also needed an on-ball creator with the second unit.

As noted by Clippers beat writer Justin Russo, the team obviously feels that Bogie can rebound with a better team around him, and be an on-ball creator with the second unit.
From the Hawks' standpoint, Mann, 28, would have to be the key to this deal. He just signed a three-year, $47M contract extension before the 2024-25 season with the Clippers, but has gone on to have his worst season since his rookie year, averaging just 6.0 points in 19.8 minutes per game. But he had shown flashes of potential his first few years in the league, to the point where the Clippers refused to include him in trades at one point.
Hyland, who is a pending free agent, has seen his usage decline significantly since posting double-digits in scoring in his first couple of NBA seasons. The 24-year-old has only gotten into 20 games and played 11 minutes per contest. The Hawks can get a free look at him the rest of the year to see if they might want to keep him.
