Breaking: Wizards Trade Jonas Valanciunas To Western Conference Team
His name was on the rumor mill pretty much ever since they signed him as a free agent last summer. Now the Washington Wizards have officially traded veteran center Jonas Valanciunas to the Sacramento Kings.

The Wizards get Sidy Cissoko and two second-round picks.
In Sacramento, JV is reunited with his longtime Toronto Raptors teammate DeMar DeRozan. Valanciunas will also make it an all-Lithuanian frontcourt with Domantas Sabonis.
As for Cissoko, he only arrived in Sacramento a couple of days ago, in the big De'Aaron Fox trade.
The Wizards signed Valanciunas to a three-year, $30 million free agent deal this past summer, in a move that raised some eyebrows, since the team was clearly in a bottoming-out stage of the rebuild. But all along, it was pretty much known that JV would be a trade piece for the Wiz to use at this time.
For the first time in his career, JV wasn't a starter this season, and was playing a career-low 20 minutes per night, while averaging 11.5 points, an 11-year low.
