Lonnie Walker IV Is Back In The NBA, Signs 2-Year Deal
Just as he was poised to commit himself to staying in Europe for the season, former first-rounder Lonnie Walker IV has agreed to a two-year, $3 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, and will join them for the rest of the season.

Walker was with Zalgiris Kaunas in the EuroLeague, but has an NBA-out in his contract that was just about to expire today.
The 26-year-old is a wing player who'll bring athleticism and scoring to a Sixers team that has been unexpectedly and alarmingly woeful this season. They are currently tied with the Brooklyn Nets for the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference, leaving them 1.5 games out of a play-in spot.
Walker was selected with the 18th overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs. He spent his first four seasons in the league in Texas, before spending one season with the LA Lakers and then last year with the Nets.
He’s averaged 9.8 points per game in his previous seven NBA seasons, while shooting just under 36% from three-point land.
